Have you felt blindsided by life and fallen into to the trap of stress, only to realize you are making wrong choices, wrong decisions, and then realize you never consulted God or included Him in your plan?
I have. And I'm sure we all have at one time or another. Especially in the first year of losing your spouse and having to make decisions you never had to make before, or at least never had to make them on your own, like you do now.
The first year is a blur and overwhelming, to say the least. But have you found that you can now do things you never did before, fix things you never fixed before and make better decisions than you did before? Again, I believe we all can. I've seen some in our group raise to new levels never before obtained and accomplish tasks that pushed them past what they thought they could do into things they know they can do.
So, if you've been having some negative thoughts about how you've handled situations in the past, you're not alone.
We've all felt that way. But God uses them to train us up so we can do better, be better. As many have come to realize. It's not so much what we've done, but what we've learnt along the way. Because no matter what we've done, God is always on the other side with His hand stretched out to help us.
Many have risen above their circumstances in the midst of pain and so can you. So hold your head high, you have accomplished some great things and overcome the nay sayers saying you couldn't do it, but you did! I'm so proud of you. You didn't quit. You persevered and now you are stronger, bolder, and happier.
I'm proud of you and who you are becoming as a child of the most high God. You're in this to win! And we are here to help you along the way. You went created to walk this life alone but in fellowship with Him and all those He's put in your oath to help you along the way. Be of good cheer. Let your joy bubble up from inside you. It's ok to be happy and find joy again.
Keep going.
Keep moving.
Keep doing.
You are making a difference!
Thank you, Jesus, for your grace that is sufficient and Your mercy that is new every morning. Great is His faithfulness!
