Have You Been Concerned About Life?

Have you been concerned about life?

Where will I go?

What will I do?

How can I move forward without the support of my spouse?

I'd be lying if I said I never did. Because I have. I've wondered about the future and how I would survive.

But then, God reminded me that my life is in His hands, to not take thought for tomorrow.

Lyle, himself, reminded me of this truth when he was going through so many heart attacks his last month of life. I was so consumed with MY role as his POA, and I knew that he didn't want to live if it meant he would no longer have quality of life.

He told me the morning that he passed that God was in control, and I didn't need to do anything. When it was his time to go, that God would simply take him home regardless of what the doctors or I did.

God in His infinite wisdom already knows and has numbered our days. Our responsibility is to let go and let God have control. Live our lives as each day may be our last.

Live life for Him each day, in the best way possible and not worry about tomorrow. Not become consumed with what I could do or should do, but in what He wants me to do for today.

The disappointments of yesterday our gone, but the future is still waiting to be lived, one day at a time.

How will you live your day today?

Lord, I ask you to minister to each one who reads this post. Help them to leave their cares and concerns in Your capable hands and enjoy this day that You hath made for them to rejoice and be glad in. You are truly good and faithful to provide all of their needs for today and all of their tomorrows. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

If you're willing to live today the best way you know how and leave tomorrow in God's capable hands...please type I WILL in the comments.

I love and cherish each of you.
